Overview

The SMA Internal Specialist will drive and support Allspring’s Retail SMA business; including REMI, DSIP, and all other SMA strategies offered through Intermediaries.

 

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 4 days a week.

 

Location(s): Milwaukee, WI, Boston, MA, or Charlotte, NC

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with portfolio specialists, product specialists and portfolio managers on complex matters and deliver responses to internal partners and FAs, as appropriate.
  • Leverage in-house tools and dashboards to answer questions (via email or phone) coming from sales and/or FAs.
  • Experts in navigating and assisting Advisors with our REMI Custom Proposal Portal, driving adoption of the Portal as it evolves.
  • Create and maintain a database of accounts including internal coverage team, account inception, market value, strategy, correspondence history, and other key information.
  • Collaborate with operations teams at Allspring and with the operations teams of our sponsor firms on ongoing matters.
  • Direct Allspring sales professionals and/or FAs toward approved tutorials, strategy sheets, marketing materials, quarterly strategy commentaries and product literature.
  • Maintain and evolve an exhaustive FAQ document covering the following topics and use it to answer questions (via email or phone) coming from sales and/or FAs.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience selling and supporting investment products.
  • Excellent active listening skills who can drive sales through consultative selling.
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented person who is process driven.
  • Demonstrated experience and success supporting and selling SMA’s
  • Exudes a high degree of start-up initiative and related business acumen.
  • Enthusiastic, forward-thinking person who thrives on enhancing processes.
  • Dynamic team player, always looking to grow their personal skills.
  • Must possess SIE, 7 and 63 licenses.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • CFA, CFP, MBA, or other similar advanced designations.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $125,000 - $130,000

 

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
